Roderic Crooks
Web Content Specialist
Roderic Crooks is a doctoral student in the Department of Information Studies. As CRP's Web Content Specialist, he coordinates the maintenance, update, design, and implementation of the CRP's website under the direction of the Program Coordinator. In addition to his studies in IS, he holds an MFA from the Writers' Workshops at the University of Iowa and is a published author of fiction. He taught English at several community colleges, including CUNY's Kingsborough College and the Borough Of Manhattan Community College. His research interests include the uses, authorship, and ownership of data; studio-based research methods for systems design; ethics in LIS education; and library service for underserved populations.
