The Civil Rights Project/Proyecto Derechos Civiles deplores the way DACA recipients and other Dreamers have been made pawns in the immigration enforcement policies of the Trump Administration. These are young people who have worked hard, followed the rules, and the strong majority of Americans believe that they deserve a permanent place in our society. These young Americans have known no other home and they deserve the security of knowing that their futures will not be jeopardized by political gamesmanship.  We stand with Dreamers and call for a pathway to citizenship for them.
