Shuchi Goyal
Shuchi Goyal joined the CRP as a graduate student researcher in January 2022. In this role. Shuchi investigates how local, state, and federal education agencies measure school climate and, specifically, how discipline rates and law enforcement involvement in schools vary by race and disability status. She is excited to be a part of the CRP team and looks forward to collaborating and learning from advocates about policy that promotes healthier and more equitable school environments.
Shuchi is a doctoral student in the UCLA Department of Statistics, where her research focuses on the statistics underlying marriage formation for demographic applications. She previously earned her B.S. in statistics and her B.A. in economics from the University of Georgia in 2018.
